What To Bring for Whale Watching Tours

What to Wear

  • Warm layers - it is significantly cooler on the water than on land
  • Hat - warm or sun depending on the season
  • Flat shoes preferably with a rubber bottom, such as tennis shoes
  • Rain jacket or windbreaker
  • Gloves - ideal for spring and fall tours

What to Bring

  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Binoculars
  • Camera
  • Water bottle (no glass please)
  • Snacks and/or lunch or dinner

What to Wear

  • Warm layers for under the exposure suit - even with the suit it is very cold on the water when traveling at high speeds. We recommend long pants/sweats and a fleece or sweater layer. During early and late season tours, we recommend heavier layers such as a synthetic or down coat.
  • Warm hat and gloves
  • Closed-toe shoes preferably flat with rubber sole to help grip such as a tennis shoes

What to Bring

  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Binoculars
  • Camera
  • Water bottle (no glass please)
  • Snacks - keep snacks easy to eat on this vessel
