Whale Watch Naturalist/ Reservations

Hailing from Southern California, Alexandria just graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology & Society, as well as Communication Studies with a Media and Public Speaking Emphasis, and a minor in Education.  She did her senior thesis on the Southern Resident Killer Whale Population and the science and culture surrounding the Pacific Northwest orca pods.

Alexandria has been in love with the San Juan Islands since her 16th birthday when she and her mom went on an incredible multi-day kayaking trip with San Juan Outfitters and has been waiting for the opportunity to be able to share her love of orcas with visitors, and be part of this amazing company!

She calls both Southern California and the Pacific Northwest her home, and fell in love with the state of Washington and all it has to offer, while attending University of Puget Sound.  Being a true California girl at heart, she enjoys traveling, kayaking, water sports, hiking, camping, and exploring all this awesome world has to offer!  This past year she worked as a dance instructor and choreographer for a school district in Orange County.   Alexandria thinks life is one great big adventure, and is so excited to be back spending the summer adventuring in the San Juans!
