July 10 & 11 Saturday & Sunday Third Annual Pelindaba Lavender Harvest Festival
The theme this year, “Lavender in History and Lore,” focuses on the 2,500 year history of lavender. Talks will focus on the cultivation of lavender and its uses from the culinary to the medicinal. Also included are cooking demonstrations, music, picnics and cameo appearances by Stage Left performers. The cutting field will be open to visitors wishing to gather their own bouquets, and a variety of craft workshops will be offered. The Gatehouse store and nursery will be open. 360-378-4248

Island Rec will be doing their "Chalk it Up" sidewalk contest that day, there will be a pancake breakfast and The Whale Museum plans a special event.

August 7th The 6th Annual Wolf Hollow Auction - Come along to the Mullis Community Senior Center for wine and hors d'oevres and to bid on some wonderful auction items.
