Third Annual Pelindaba Lavender Harvest Festival
The theme this year, “Lavender in History and Lore,” focuses on the 2,500 year history of lavender. Talks will focus on the cultivation of lavender and its uses from the culinary to the medicinal. Also included are cooking demonstrations, music, picnics and cameo appearances by Stage Left performers. The cutting field will be open to visitors wishing to gather their own bouquets, and a variety of craft workshops will be offered. The Gatehouse store and nursery will be open. 360-378-4248

We will be expanding our activities this year to include a children's
"Creative Zone", more music and more food. Island Rec will be doing their
"Chalk it Up" sidewalk contest that day, there will be a pancake breakfast
and The Whale Museum plans a special event.
