November 26 and 27 Weather report for Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, Washington SNOW! Is the four letter word today.

The ferries were still 'on time'

Spring Street Landing looks great with snow

San Juan Valley cloaked in snow

Sweet Pea in the barn, trying to stay out of the snow

There are still a few whales around, mostly the humpbacks hanging around Victoria. Some transient orcas were seen off San Juan Island too.

November 1 - 22
Winter is known for its 'wind storms' (even here in the banana belt) and we have had some good ones. Plenty of downed branches &trees from the 50 MPH winds. Everyone who owns a boat is out checking lines every few hours. Boats are bobbing and rocking in the harbor out my window. We pay for the six months of summer weather in the other six months.
