Transients were seen off Victoria eating a Stellar Sea Lion! (1500 pounds or so)

Just listened to the whales pass the Port Townsend hydrophone and it sounded like just K pod (my note: resident orca whale family) (4:50 pm).

Today Iris from Charters Northwest, our next door neighbor, ran over to make sure we saw this rainbow.
Right out our office window, there it was. . . beautiful!
Orcas where spotted yesterday off of Whidbey Island.

Trumpeter Swans off Bailor Hill Road, or as we locals call this after it rains and rains "Bailor Hill Lake"
That would be that white dots.
