Custom tours
Who would benefit from a custom tour? Guests wishing to be by themselves, a company team building event, birthday parties, wedding parties, guests who wish to concentrate on one aspect of the tour such as birds.
We can customize any of the tours we offer by changing the time they depart, return time or both.
We can also customize it by catering your meal on the water, making arrangements to fly you to the island, making your lodging arrangements and supplying that something "extra" for a special event.
Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount.
Catering charges depend on what meal or snacks would be desired.
Custom tours can depart from either Friday Harbor or Roche Harbor.
Group Tours
A group is considered 10 or more guests. We can take up to 36 guests out on a tour. A group of more than 10 will usually depart from Roche Harbor as the docks there allow 16 guests to launch at one time. We place one trained naturalist guide for every 10 guests on these tours.
Payment Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit would be required at the time of reservation. The balance would then be due 30 days prior to the tour. If the tour is cancel inside of that 30 day period, the balance will be charged.
Prices are plus sales tax (7.7%) and gratuities are not included. Or what groups have done in the past is to have us use the 10% discount as the guide tip.
