We do not have the same weather as Seattle. They recieve approximately 30 inches of rain per year.

Here in the islands, we receive approximately 18 inches per year. We are considered the "banana belt" or in the "rain shadow" of the Olympic Mountains.

May - September the island is generally sunny and warm and in the 70's.

Just west of here, the Olympic Rain Forest receives 250 inches per year.
